The S.Y.S.P.U.C. project focuses on raising the capacity of organisations working with youth and promoting non-formal educational activities in the Western Balkans, specifically in Albania, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. The project's main aim is to strengthen the quality of youth organisations' educational activities and enlarge their outreach to sustainably involve young people from underrepresented communities in quality non-formal education activities promoting active citizenship. To achieve this aim, youth organisations participating in this project receive tailor-made, country and region-specific capacity building, including peer-to-peer learning, staff development, educational methods training, and organisational development support. The project consortium's end goal is to create a solid base for long-term civic youth engagement in the Western Balkans, ensure the sustainability of the project objectives, and contribute to the“Engage-Connect-Empower” priorities of the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027. Through this final Conference, the project team aims to bring together youth workers, youth civil organisations, decision-makers, and members of the governing bodies of the European Union, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Albania to reflect on the impact of strengthening youth spaces and participation for underrepresented communities. During the Conference, you will have the opportunity to: - Celebrate the launch of a Policy Recommendation on the social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities through non-formal education and volunteering activities;
- Learn about the impact and results of the S.Y.S.P.U.C. project;
- Reflect on the future of youth participation in underrepresented communities.
